Artist Statement

Art is the medium through which I express my thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Each creation is a reflection of my ongoing self-discovery and growth.

I draw inspiration from nature, lived experiences, and notably, music. The impact of these influences fuels my imagination and drives my artistic endeavors.

My primary goal as an artist is perpetual creation to allow for growth and development. I’m intrigued by curiosity, which pushes me to explore various forms and mediums of expression. Art is a bridge that allows us to connect with the world and each other on a deeper level. As I continue to create, experiment, and grow, I am excited to discover the different ways art can resonate with others and be interpreted through the lens of our individual experiences.

Biography

I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, but for a short time during my childhood, my family and I lived in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, where I fell in love with the lush greenery. This connection to nature is evident in my work and continues to inspire my artistic endeavors.

I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a degree in Art Education in 2021. A few years later, in 2023, I found a rekindled passion for ceramics and began teaching pottery at a locally owned studio in 2024. This journey deepened my love and appreciation for the art and has pushed me to explore new techniques as I expand my craft.
